The Montessori grip balls are wonderful developmental toys for babies who just begin grasping with both hands (starting at 3-4 months old). The many "handles" of the ball help the child build dexterity and coordination. Plus, the grip ball rolls a very short distance if dropped, thus eliminating the frustration of a ball that rolls hopelessly out of reach. It does roll enough to encourage the not-yet-crawling child to scoot over and grasp it again. It can also be used as a hanging toy by fastening it with a piece of elastic or ribbon.
Provided with low rattle or bird chirping sound when moving.
The wooden teether will come in handy by the same time, as most babies begin teething by then.
A carry bag is included for those outings at the park.
Diameter of the ball: about 12.5 cm. The dimension may slightly vary from a ball to another.
Handcrafted in a house without smoke or pets.
100% cotton or wood. Hand or machine wash at 30 degrees. No tumble dry.
