Choosing Your Topponcino

Our single layer organic cotton topponcino has the recommended thickness and density (around 0.8-1cm and 330gr) according to Maria Montessori's teachings. This ensures your baby can sense your warmth and touch through the mat.

If you prefer a slightly thicker mat, an extra fiber layer (1 - 1.5 cm) can be added. However, it will compress down to the single layer thickness when used, due to the adaptable nature of the fiber.

Fiber topponcinos are softer, dry faster after washing and provide a bit more warmth, creating a snug environment for your baby.
